Blog 5: Changes to my study program

 Hello everyone.

After a long time, I am here writing a new blog in which I will tell you about changes in my study program.

As I was telling you, I am a student of Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

I think my career has many shortcomings in its study program.

I feel that they teach us what to do? but not the How to do it? Which often affects in practice. We know that there is no single vision of seeing things, but many times, among teachers, they show us an absolute truth that contradicts the other view of their colleague. As a student this is chaos because you don't know what is best.

Something that I have not noticed is that our career needs to add a branch linked to self-care, it is important to have an instance where our physical and comprehensive health as a student is protected, this because in practice situations occur that affect our emotional stability.

I would also like the creation of a branch that is linked to public policies related to education and childhood.

In terms of infrastructure, I would like there to be an extension to the CREA room and for more resources to be allocated to the creation of pedagogical material.

I hope that the University of Chile ceases to be a label of good university at the national level and that with facts it manages to be so for its students.
